Leash Control - Where dogs are concerned, their collars can become choke collars if used improperly. Where people are concerned, improper use of their imaginary collars can, and will, "choke" off initiative and undermine motivation.

Amir is the recipient of the Outstanding Service Dog Award - Category I - Top Hero Award presented to him by the Anatolian Shepherd Dog Club of America for protecting his owner from an attack by wild, feral, dog/coyote mixes.
He is a full-time livestock guardian protection dog
Doug Young is the founder of The Canine Way, a motivational and leadership training company. Combining lessons learned from training dogs with lessons learned from training people, Doug offers a unique approach to personal and professional development programs.
He has held management roles in government and the private sector where he has designed and presented workshops on leadership development, team building, process improvement, communication skills, personality assessments and numerous, other, topics.
When not conducting workshops or developing new programs, Doug Young, and his partner Kate, live on a small farm with a menagerie of animals consisting of alpacas, Anatolian Shepherds and Dandie Dinmont Terriers.
